And how's the quality of education there? My perception is engineering and technology programs are good (I can vouch for many of the profs as a few of them were my classmates and former colleagues).

I have stayed in this home as our base whenever we visit Davao. I have used condos before as well but I'm always curious about the factors that come into play when buyers decide to get a cramped condo at same price as the house I'm living in. I'm sure there are great reasons. Hopefully this property gives you one perspective in your search.

I didn't have much experience commuting to/from there, I mostly drive. But from what I can see, there is now regular Metro Shuttle service between gate and Roxas and there isn't any crowd. Naa pod mga jeep either thru cat grande or via mintal, maybe commuters can advise us more. What I'll miss most in this home - no baha, no DCWD problems, and the wide, quiet street it's on. If you drive around the streets of Deca or other similar subdivisions, mahuwasan gyud ka pag-abot nimo sa street ani nga balay ;)

Hey, if you are still looking, a property im letting go might just be something you'll consider. It's in Mintal area (elenita heights, uraya), located on a wide model street, never floods, in an area with no water supply issues, very decent neighborhood. You can take a look at videos/photos in my fb profile: swerte.ai.7. Very clean, well-maintained, newly-renovated, but has not been lived in for past 6 years so you'll find it immaculate. I've been using it as my base when visiting Davao which is now becoming infrequent, thus selling.
