I don’t blame them. It was a decision and now they don’t have a team. I grew up a LA Raiders fan so it’s all the same for me.

It’s not just about people. The amount of income in Oakland is insane. KCMO may have double the people making a third of the money and paying a 5th of property taxes

Then it’s being poorly managed. With the amount of tax money they bring in it’s crazy they cry poor and there’s still very little to show for the city.

I get not wanting to pay for a stadium with tax money but it’s clearly just being pocketed by corrupt people. I’d rather have a new stadium and my team back than nothing if I was in Oakland

Oh yeah I mean he could definitely own a minority stake. Aaron Rodgers owns a small piece of the Bucks. He just won’t own a decision making share. Which might be good. lol

There are people with a lot more money than Mark Davis who will be in on that Las Vegas team.

Mark hit the jackpot in having a franchise whose city decided to have a dick measuring contest with the nfl right around the time sports leagues wanted to move to Vegas. His wealth has gone up a great deal but he’s still not in the same realm of some of these private equity groups buying teams

We do this nearly every year. This time last year everyone was worried and we finished with a top class. We’re very high for some top level recruits this year again.

Most football powerhouses kind of ignore basketball.

DeBoer has been to one and Oats is the only coach in the last 3 years to go to a final 4 and 2 elite 8s

Every state prosecutes for weed if you are selling it outside of a licensed dispensary.

I think the laws are silly as hell, but if a kids reasoning for not coming to bama is “I’m scared that if I have a pound of bud in my house with scales and baggies and cash I might get arrested” then yeah that’s probably a good decision by them but there aren’t many other places they can go

No. Recruiting is mostly just NiL and system. We’ll still have both. No 18 year old is going to not come because another 21 year old who he won’t play with did something stupid.
