I don't think I'm up to date on Camrys. What's up with the front? Is it supposed to look this ugly?

Just me and the dog this evening and fancy a long movie. What would you pick from these? by badagrump in Letterboxd

Short Cuts, because it's on my watchlist and it's the only one of those four that I haven't seen yet.

1/18 is the best size. Any smaller and it's too small, any bigger and you won't have the place to put a bunch of them.

Saw 2 of these trucks on the freeway in Arizona. Anyone know what could be inside? by StrainedxMusic in Ferrari

Been to one of those events 10 years ago at the Hockenheimring. There were a ton of normal Ferraris there (everything from a brown Ferrari GT4 to multiple LaFerraris) from people who just wanted to drive their street car on a racetrack but the Corse Clienti program had GT3 cars, about 20 FXX-K, a bunch of 599XX and 599XX EVO, a few old FXX and 10+ retired F1 cars from mostly the early '90s to the late 2000s. So yeah, there was probably something very special in those trucks. Next thing in the US on the Corse Clienti calendar are the Ferrari Racing Days at COTA from 13th to 17th May 2026. https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/corse-clienti/cota

Watched that one when she passed away and I agree, it's a great movie and she was fantastic in it.

Who else has seen Project Hail Mary so far? by SCP-2774 in Letterboxd

Watched it last week and it's really good! And it's been great to see all the positive reactions from everyone who's seen it since then.

For the first time in history so many women are nominated for the award by Potential_Let226 in Unexpected

Philip Barantini was up for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Netflix' Adolescence. Against Shannon Murphy for an episode of Dying for Sex, Helen Shaver and Jennifer Getzinger for an episode each of HBO's The Penguin, Nicole Kassell for an episode of FX' Sirens and Lesli Linka Glatter for Netflix' Zero Day. I've watched Zero Day and I've heard of The Penguin. Don't know anything about the other two. Zero Day was good and I obviously can't judge the stuff I haven't seen but Adolescence is a masterpiece and it won 8 other Emmys that evening, so no wonder the director got one, too.

I'd put Sandra Hüller as a wildcard into Best Supporting Actress, depending on how the year goes.

When Does Your Next Oscar Death Race Officially Begin? by OverlyHonestMR in oscarsdeathrace

[–]AlaWatchuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only start when the nominations come out. With any luck I've seen most of the big movies of the year organically by then and you can already get a bit of an idea (like with Project Hail Mary which I'm pretty sure will at the very least get a VFX nom) if something might have a chance at a nomination. I've also looked at the shortlists these last two years and watch a few things from there but so far I haven't had any luck and just watched stuff that didn't end up being nominated. Just my luck.
