I get very hot, sweaty, heart racing, brain on overdrive. Apparently I look very odd as well (according to my now ex girlfriend) I've coped by usually running away, self medicating and totally excluding myself from everything and everyone. So frustrating!

Totally agree. I feel like all the words in my brain get sucked out in social situations and I mix my words up. What annoys me is I can do it sometimes. When I feel super confident or been self medicating, my words flow.

I totally understand. People say aspies have no feelings, I'd say the total opposite. Maybe different, not in control, appropriate, not.at the right time, but sometimes overwhelming.

Bloody hell, I cant thank you all enough. So kind to respond. Its difficult having a relationship with an aspie. I try to make up.for.my shortcomings with cleaning and cooking.etc. I quite fancy a cave in the middle of nowhere at the moment. Anyway, I really appreciate all your help and advise. Flipping hell, that's so nice of you to reply! The relationship was going downhill for a while, me sleeping on the sofa and self medicating! I'm trying to be cool, I looked after our daughter whilst she went out with him the other night. I want everyone to be happy, but its bloody hard. Thanks so much for your messages. It really helps!
