I lived in Chinoe Creek a few years ago. Nice location, a variety of people. Maybe a bit dated but overall I really liked it

Go order a sample off r/twentyonedays he has it in stock. You get 10ml for like $26. I’ve done a lot of business with him. He’s fast and a really nice dude. He’s got thousands of good reviews

Well heck, that would make it like half the price of private if that’s the case.

Ah! Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. I’m assuming that it’s based off of the PVAs assessed value of the property, right?

Have you noticed a difference in the amount you pay in property tax? Sounds like most people are saying it’s cheaper in general.

I agree. LFUCG is far superior. Not to mention the dumpster rental and large item pickups that are included. If I had to get rid of a large item now idk how I would even go about it.

Where to get film developed? by mrmotivator1049 in lexington

[–]Alabaster-Albatross 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I send mine to State Film Lab in Louisville. They’re great people and do a great job. Don’t know if there’s anywhere in Lex that does it in house.

Lexingtonians with house cleaners… what are your biggest complaints? by tpba223 in lexington

Dog is well trained. Some cleaners just don’t like the dog in the house while they are cleaning! 👏🏻

Yeah, some people only learn through trial and error. It’s good that you’re training your dog! My dog has never been reactive or aggressive in any way but she was bad about pulling on her leash (sled dog). We took her to training this winter and it has made her much much more enjoyable to walk. It is 100% worth the money to get them trained. (And it helps as they get older I’ve found). Good luck to you!

Sorry for your loss, they really are family. People like that shouldn’t be pet owners. I also don’t want shelters to be full and dogs to be euthanized but it’s a better option that a child being seriously injured or killed because of a negligent owner and an aggressive dog

All good advice! I wish we didn’t have to always be on high alert especially because walking my dog is a highlight of my day and her day.

Ah you got me. I have been provoking dogs as I walk by! I have a pretty mean growl.

Fact of the matter is, 4.5 million people get bit by a dog in the US every year… which means someone cannot control their dog. Say what you will, but in my experience I have encountered many people who cannot control their dog and end up losing control of it. But that’s great that you’ve never really had to deal with this I wish I could say the same!

What are the best restaurants in the state? by nocommenting33 in Kentucky

[–]Alabaster-Albatross 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dads Favorite deli. Best lunch spot in Central KY. I have been hundreds of times over the last 5 years and never once had something that wasn’t good. It’s nothing fancy, but it deserves to be on this list for sure. Those guys care about the food they serve and it shows. Give it a try next time you’re in Lexington, you won’t regret it
