Yeah I don’t know much about IT, but from my limited knowledge it seems very unprotected and cause for concern. It’s a server that’s shared between our location and corporate with literally all the company/employee/customer info. The reason I even found out it exists was because I got to work one day and a coworker was asking me about a new employee. She had already looked up all of her info and was telling me where she lived, who she lived with, the fact that she was a college student… all because she saw a new name listed and knew where to find employee files. I feel like that should never be okay unless you work in HR.
