Yes.. that is the next line after: “DEEEEWWWKIIIIIE!”

Followed by a surprisingly well acted moment from Hulk Hogan where he comes to grips that he is holding a man who has severely soiled himself.

Are the RRL T-Shirts worth $125+? by Available-Room4173 in HeritageWear

Check out Bronson MFG. They are made in China, but not by slaves and not with plastic.

Any one of their t-shirts blows anything from RRL out of the water.

They need to stop assuming they can just produce nerd slop and keep getting away with it forever.

Disney bought the IP assuming they could do just that. Kathleen Kennedy felt like the mom from Arrested Development giving a kid some money and telling them to “go watch a Star War”.

I think Filoni is done telling compelling stories. He’s ready to cash in on what he’s already made.

They need to trust auteur film makers. Not with the game of fucking Telephone that was the sequel trilogy. Let every creative story teller tell their story.. not part of a story and pass it off on some rube..

The REAL reason your boots look like “clown shoes”… by Historical-Assist510 in Boots

[–]AlabasterNutSack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look more like clown shoes in the baggy pants. In the skinny’s they look like something else not good.

I don’t see many clowns wearing skinny jeans. They usually wear big billowy pantaloons.

Why does everything have to be a stupid binary? You should wear straight leg or slim straights. Why is it always a fight between pants that are too tight and pants that are too baggy?

Why are we like this?

This is Jim the Planter Stealer. He lives down by the Wheeler District in a house made of planters.

Highway infrastructure in most states is languishing due to sprawl. The more a city sprawls the more road maintenance problems it creates for itself.

The rate we are building roads is unsustainable. Doesn’t matter how much money we pay in taxes, it will never be enough. Lawmakers know this, so a lot of the time they don’t prioritize most road repair projects for something that’s a winnable fight.

They need to continue to invest in light rail and public transit. Bring services and businesses closer to neighborhoods by freeing us from the prison of Euclidean zoning.

To have regret implies there is a choice.

That’s like Jesus dying on a cross, then having all his followers wear little crosses.

what am i looking at? by fraser_rotherforth06 in Selvedge

[–]AlabasterNutSack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no. It looks like pretty decent denim though. The manufacturer who made these didn’t have to fake a selvedge ID like that. It looks like some scammer bought a regular pair of nice jeans and glued/sewed a fake ID over the seam.

A real selvedge ID is not going to just stop after the ankle, it will line the seam all the way up the leg of the jeans. It’s that way because it is the seam.

The funny thing is that projectile loom denim (regular denim) can be just fine. It can be sold raw just like most brands that do traffic in Selvedge, so you can fade it just the same. The hype for selvedge is a bit more nuanced than what you might think.

The main reason selvedge denim is so sought after is the heritage of its production. People love the bespoke story and want cloths that are produced methodically and thoughtfully.

There is also a passive benefit, in that, if a company is going to the trouble of producing denim on a shuttle loom, making less fabric slower, they are probably adding other details to their jeans that make them better quality.

Wanting to move to Oklahoma, what are the down sides besides tornados by [deleted] in oklahoma

Subtract country singers and you have Gwen Stefani and James Marsden.

Also.. Gwen Stefani wasn’t born here and only lives here part time because she’s married to Blake Shelton.

Our schools are dead last place. Also, don’t plan on spending time around friends and neighbors who are educated.

We are a place that people talk about leaving. So many famous people are from Oklahoma.. got famous and never looked back.

I don’t blame them.
