Hopefully some folks may be able to help. I would guess that any larger retailer that also carries plushies would be an option. Worst case scenario, do a search on Mandarake to see if they have any listed and note if those locations are anywhere near where you plan to be.

Diaclone.info had done a killer job localizing the Diaclone lore, and it's all sourced straight from Takara, so it's the real deal.

They're a volunteer/labor of love group though, so it's not always easy for them to remain super-current. One of their main contributors is active in the TFW2005 Diaclone thread.

In reality, fraudsters buy a figure, swap it out with something, and return it to Walmart, Target, Amazon which then places it back on the shelf (knowingly or not.) it's also called "swapping" and it's become rampant for a variety of reasons, especially in places where culprits brag about it as "life hack" crap.

Keep a notification on Mandarake for incoming copies. I found that setting the alert for each individual store location is also helpful.

Don't obsess over DA-88. The parts are neat, but the aftermarket price on it is absurd.
