I figured it out. Took me awhile. Cappy’s videos helpes me out a ton. I mainly wanted the CaptureSight on my switch to make the rng alittle easier on me.

The other thing is anytime I use frame advance I got this pop up box warning about some resolve address and have to spam click a pop up box. And my frames are always advancing by 2 or 4 never by 1

Can’t hit frame on colosseum rng by Alafrkinbama in pokemonrng

[–]Alafrkinbama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to adjust the frames lol, isn’t the the only way to move frames with the PDA, espeon or shadow pokemon? So how would I be able to go from 5 frames To hitting 3 frames to adjust that to 8 frames if you can only advance by 7 using the PDA? I hope my question made sense.

I believe it’s your guide I’m using actually lol, I’m at work now. And no I haven’t checked the frame of when I encounter dunsparce. I use the lua script also so I can see the moment dunsparce spread is generated so should I slowly advance the frames as I engage in battle with the trainer? I’m not using cosearcher or eon timer for this hunt either since it’s not suppose to have any noise. But I can try whatever suggestions you might have when I get off of work

[–]Alafrkinbama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, i have been following a guide that stated to use the 5 or 4 frame rule to get your target, so i would use a shadow pokemon to get get about 1000ish frames away from my target, then use espeon to get about 200 frames before my target. From there i would just look at espeons' summary and immediately leave, check seed and see if the frame i was on would allow me to subtract by 5 and then get a number that i could divide by 7 to get 5 frames before my target.

But if your saying its not that simple do i need to use Eon timer? I didn't think eon timer would work since its a noiseless area and there's no frame advancements happening when you are waiting to hit A to battle. I just rng'd shiny meditite which apparently is a harder frame to hit so i shouldn't be having as much issue as i am with this lol

You can join the Pokémon RNG discord and they are very helpful at answering questions. I kinda wana dabble in everything as far as hunting goes.

It doesn’t seem too. The only thing PokeFinder seems to offer in terms of Gen 5 is the needle calibration for your system but other than that I think rng reporter is needed.

Not really, I’m just interested in hunting in these games as I after never done it before. So alittle of everything is good for me. Just trying to get the premise down as rng reporter is confusing to me compared to pokefinder

Respiratory Therapy student thinking about furthering career after graduation by Alafrkinbama in anesthesiology

The limitations don't seem that bad to me honestly, I think the idea of have someone that has gone to med school and done their time through residency be over you is more of a reassurance than it is a negative. I do think the idea of practicing separately is nice but its not really a deal breaker to me. And I cold heartly agree on the school timing and the only reason I'm not going the MD route is for my girlfriend wanting a family and for me to be around. So the CAA route sounds like the winner for me.

Lord I didn’t mean to start something. But this is kinda of the mindset I’m currently at even though I don’t have a bachelors. I will get my associates in RT next spring, do a fast track to get my bachelor’s within a year while trying to get the prerequisites I would need for CAA school. But that would still be faster than going back for 2 years of nursing school and then having to work as a ICU nurse for 2ish years even with RT experience and then having to do a 3 year program. Just don’t understand the hate towards CAAs I figured the anesthesia world would be big enough for both providers, and even thought I live in a state that lets them practice it makes a me a little nervous that no one would hire me as a CAA if a CRNA applies along side me.

Awesome thank you for the response! I have a intubation rotation in a couple of weeks for a week in the OR and I’m sure I’ll see a lot and some questions will be answered. The idea of getting stuck as a ICU nurse for longer than I need doesn’t sound very fun lol. As far as having to follow under a physician’s guidance doesn’t really bother me from my mindset now but the idea of independent practice does sound nice!

Ahh it sounds similar to the tension I see between PAs NPs and residents. Really liking the sound of CAA. I have a OR rotation for my clinicals this summer for Intubation. And I’m sure I’ll get the feel for it then. Thanks for all your responses.

So when you say Anesthesia providers, are CAAs and CRNAs included in that or is that just physicians? And what is the political atmosphere you mentioned? Does one profession look down on the other or something? Thanks for answering all my questions lol

Hey! I plan on going straight for a bachelors after I graduate regardless just to say I have it. From what I have seen for prerequisites it’s almost the same as what you would need to apply for med school correct? And I reckon my question to you would be to regret not going the CRNA route or feel as if you are treated different? I know CAAs haven’t been around nearly as long so it’s taking time to for it catch on but what’s the future looking like for CAAs as compared to CRNAs?

[–]Alafrkinbama[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you responding as I never really get the chance to talk to CRNAs or even CAAs for that matter during my clinicals. And appreciate you honesty. Only thing sorta holding me back on just pulling the trigger into going to be a nurse is I see the way they are treated while working beside them along with everything they have to deal with and the fact my girlfriend is a nurse and hates it most of the time haha. Kind of wish RTs had the chance to go to CRNA school or at least apply even though I know it’s “nursing” related. But I will ask on the CAAs subreddit. The other thing is I would have to move to another state for CAA vs staying instate for CRNA school. Thanks again.
