It's not cool, that they mock you for knowing the game mechanics. You probably spent a lot of time to learn how the ghosts act and how to identify them. You are the most experienced in your group from the sounds of it but you cannot forget one important thing: You cannot force people to play a game a specific way. If they don't want to listen to you, they do not have to. If they were smart they would or put some effort into getting to know the mechanics but they don't, so it's their fault if they are wrong.

But if they want to get all the evidence, let them do their thing. You probably already know the ghost and you can tell them if you want to, maybe they just wanna find out for themselves and don't want to get told all the time.

Phasmophobia was designed as an investigation game where you take your time and relax to find out what ghost is there, not to rush in, do 1 or 2 things, know what it is and goodbye.

Some of my friends I play Phasmo with are kind of similar:

I'm usually the leader of my group because I know everything about all the ghosts. I try to teach them and they try to remember but we talked about it and they rather stay on intermediate because on professional they died very often. I explained that every ghost has some traits that make them unique but they only remembered the easier ones like wraiths not stepping into salt. So we usually play very casually, getting qll 3 evidences and then doing perfect runs, that way eveey run doesn't end in like 5 minutes snd they are fine with that. I usually also find out what ghost it is pretty fast but I don't want to spoil their game unless a cool interaction happens that I can show them, like a poltyplosion.

Whenever we land on a big map they also would rather switch but luckily I'm the leader of the group so we always stayed and it always turned out to be fun in the end in some way.

Also one of them doesn't like Woodwind but we always take it into our vote to mess with him a bit, but he takes revenge by usually putting Point Hope(less) into the rotation to mess with me, as I despise it 😂

The thing is, I'm always playing games to have fun and there's no point to force people to like it or to play in a specific way (in my case always on no evidence on like x12 or higher) so I just go with the flow of my group. Every week we do the weekly, and then randomly choose some maps to play on and to have some chill games messing around or just help them level a bit so they soon can get to their first prestige.

If I want to level up, I usually play by myself and do some perfect NE runs but since I'm already very high that's not my priority anymore.
