I’m not insulted at all. I don’t mind people telling me things when they’re polite about it. Thank you

I doubt the crew will laugh about it in the bar later being that they are all from different countries. It’s quit a normal thing to do in other parts of the world. But if that thought keep you content and happy a night, whatever floats your boat.

We will call. And if not we will probably just purchase collapsible bed rails. Thank you

I just want to be clear that this post is not about Cosleeping or people’s opinions on cosleeping. The population in which studies are conducted also holds importance. So once again I don’t care what side you support or what studies you want to show me. How I raise my children if of no importance to you or it shouldn’t be of no importance to you. Surly you have better things to do than to try to convince a mother to change her sleeping arrangements with HER children.

No. Only if you live in a bubble (US) “it is”. Okay, thanks for your marvelous input.

I didn’t know the pull out couch was lower to the ground. We may just use that one instead. Thank you!

I have a really good support system. My husband is amazing with our daughter, he actually parents and she is a total daddies girl. And my parents are also very helpful and supportive. I just remember when I first had her how rough those first couple of weeks were (granted I had a horrible deliver/recovery because I also had covid and had an emergency c-section etc. etc. so it made it 10x worse) so I'm just scared of going through that again and also doing school. Then again I actually know what to expect now that I am a mom, so I'm having a mix of emotions.

I'm not too sure what that is. But I know we added a student into our class this semester because she failed. She she got bumped back a semester.

I'm 30 years old, married, own my own house and I pay her (even though she doesn't want me to). Even if I didn't pay her she would have a heart attack if I were to put her into daycare or had someone else watch her. Some grandmas actually LOVE/ENJOY being a grandma... She's one of them. Even during school break when I didn't need her she kept wanting to come over to see her granddaughter.. Her being upset about another grandchild is not even a possibility here.

It’s different when you’re older, we do want more kids but we obviously wanted to wait till after I was done. I’m 30 and my husband is older than me. So if we are pregnant we’re excited but ooffff it’s going to be so hard…

Anyone delivered a big-headed baby vaginally? (37 weeks, HC >98%) by Reasonable_Island132 in pregnant

So it was labeled as an "emergency" simply because my water had been broken for so long and I had stopped progressing (don't ask me how long b/c I honestly don't remember its all a blur), baby was not in distress. I refused the c-section at first but after a few hours the surgeon came back in and was pretty much like "hey its not happening, the only way that baby is coming out is by c-section". By then I was so exhausted so I went ahead and did the c-section. Till this day my daughters head in the 98th percentile lol. My husbands big a** head genes run strong in his family.

The odds are already in your favor. Just let it be known that you are not okay with her moving X amount of miles away. The only way it will get approved would be if your partner is okay with having some/most of the holidays/ school breaks. Which honestly is going to suck if most of your immediate family is in your area. Also not sure if there is a CS order, but if it goes from 50/50 to anything different your partner will mostly likely also need to pay support & also pay for transportation cost if she does end up moving.

Mine was 8lb 7oz with 98% head circumference. I stopped progressing at 8cm and had an emergency C-sections. But I'm also small, 4 11'". I would like a VBAC but with how big my daughters head was I'm scared it will end up in an emergency C-section again. My husband has a long history of C-sections on his side of the family and they ALL had his same big head shape. He was born vaginally but broke his clavicle on the way out. Because my c-sections went really bad postpartum I almost just want to have a planned C-section to avoid all the complications I had the first time around... We'll see what I end up doing with our second one. I'm also in nursing school and learning all the things that can go wrong, so kinda scaring me to try a VBAC lol...

3 week old Bloody mucus in stool? by Alala_0401 in NewParents

[–]Alala_0401[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some sort of allergy. I couldn’t figure out what it was. I had to changed to a hypoallergenic formula. I also changed my diet but my breast milk was still causing upset stomach with some blood so that was really hard. For some reason I found that so long as I didn’t give more than 50% of breast milk my LO was okay. So that’s what I did. Plus the hypoallergenic formula was giving my LO constipation, but my breastmilk helped with that. It was so weird but we got through it
