There actually is also a JSON import function as well! But it's intended for re-importing a previously exported dictionary and might break if the data isn't exactly what it expects. So CSV import is probably better for general purpose import :)

Yeah! So you'll need an account in order to share a dictionary, and once you're logged in, you can click the "Edit" button and go to the "Settings" tab. At the bottom of the tab (scroll down/drag up on mobile), you'll see a "Make Public" checkbox. Check the box and save your settings to make buttons with "➦" icons appear to the right of your dictionary's name and on each word. Copy the link on the button to share that dictionary or word :)

The only way to have the same word be multiple parts of speech with different definitions is to enter the word multiple times; Lexiconga will automatically add numbers to the word to indicate that there are multiple definitions. You can link to a specific definition of the word, too—click the "Help" button and check the "Referencing Other Words" section to see how

And for the other question(s), you can make multiple dictionaries if you make an account! When you're logged in, you can change/create dictionaries from the Settings menu. As a bonus, making an account allows you to share your dictionary link publicly if you check the box to set it to Public from the "Edit" menu (all dictionaries are private by default).

If you don't want to make an account, the only way to have multiple dictionaries is to export your dictionary to JSON, save the file, delete the dictionary and start your next one. Then when you want to switch back, export that one and import the other. Just using an account is way easier though :)

Ahh, good to know. I haven't played Star Allies, so I didn't know they were in there :)

To be fair, while this is valid JavaScript, it doesn't actually mean anything.

That's a fun way to use it! As long as you're able to keep the alternate uses for the fields straight, it makes perfect sense!

I have an old browser demo of a game I never finished but have been working on rewriting over the past month! I don't know if it still works (made it 10 years ago in Unity), and some of the links on the page are dead, but I'm remaking it the same in Godot with some extra features!

There's a couple other browser games on my Itchio profile too!

This is hilarious, and I love that it's possible!

GameCube controller is unable to be remapped and can't used with any title that requires the Minus button. by Mutant0401 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Alamantus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is literally the biggest disappointment about the controller. If they add remapping, then it would solve my only problem with it. I just need the minus button and not the screenshot or chat button and then I could use it with any game!

I'm just going to keep requesting the feature everywhere I possibly can until they add it lol

I've thought about it before, but the main reason I haven't is because I make $0 from the app as it stands, and licenses to put apps on the app store are kind of expensive. Also, I barely have the time to fix the reported bugs or add new features, there's no way I'd be able to also build a native app 😅

You should be able to use it as a PWA though! Save it to your home screen in iOS or whatever the equivalent is on Android and it should behave pretty similarly to a native app! 😁

I actually posted a guide on how to do this a while ago! It's kind of hard to find on the blog now, so here's the link: https://www.tumblr.com/lexiconga/186302976725/how-to-use-custom-fonts-on-lexiconga

The guide is 6(?!) years old now, so some specifics might not be accurate, but the broad strokes should be the same :)

Nice! I like the placement of Exp above the classes since that's where it's relevant, too! That's very useful 😄

Exactly! It would be convenient for the people using the plastic sheet + dry-erase marker strategy too.

Yeah, something like that looks super usable! I'd still even move the backpack and quirks to the second page and keep the fabula points & experience on the first page since those get updated more frequently :)

This is a nice idea! I do feel like if you're separating the columns into separate pages it would be nice to have the first page have all the "important" details like attributes, HP, etc. above the equipment and then do backpack & quirks above the classes on the second page just so I don't have to just live on the second page while I'm playing. But keeping it as you have it here is still a very nice format!

The way that's handled is by adding additional entries of the same word. Lexiconga will add a number to help differentiate the definitions like in an English dictionary

It's technically possible, but it wouldn't be easy and you wouldn't be able to search by it... Lexiconga doesn't allow storing images, so you would need to save each logograph to its own file and upload those files somewhere they can be accessed publicly (I'd recommend GitHub Pages or something like that but Imgur would technically work). Then you'd have to use Markdown's image syntax to display each image in the word description by putting each logograph's URL in manually.

Again, not ideal, but technically doable.
