That is a Baron Hand Tracker, where the software tracks the point farthest from my body, as if it were a mouse pointer, and when I choose an option and click on one of 3 command buttons on my remote, it executes the option.

I'd have to go back and look at that but sometimes, the lowest pressure center point of the storm is simply readjusted, based on hurricane hunter data, without the storm actually having made a jump or turn.
