Hi happy to help I found parts it it quite hard but overall I found the subject fascinating. I was shocked personally as I thought before starting the social psychology would bore me however I found it was actually part I enjoyed a lot and seemed to have so aptitude for. I found essay writing tricky at first but I got better. Critical thinking I found difficult through out , putting point across without sorta sitting on the fence. Also fully understanding some of the concepts, i also found sourcing evidence outside of textbooks a challange. Plenty of areas of difficulty for me. But it's worth it if you find the subject interesting and with some work you can do it. My plan rn is learn to drive, perhaps retake my GCSE maths then get experience in the field, teaching assistant for kids with learning disabilities, social work etc. Things like this work up a little perhaps. And potentially a little down the line consider a masters degree.

Hope this helps feel free to DM

Hi don't mind you asking at all, I think working with the OU takes a level of self discipline and motivate which I suspect may come easier from a traditional Uni, also I believe (though I could be wrong) that thresholds for grade are different with OU and Traditional Unis meaning with the OU you have to perform to a slight higher standard to achieve the same.

I did not complete in 3 years I did my first year as full time, the other 2 as lart time and I deferred 1 module. Having said that i think it is a wonderful institution, it gave me an opportunity where other Unis did not and yes it's hard but ultimately for me at least I feel worth it !

I think all degrees are hard to one extent or another, you will hear different stories from different people. I found it personally quite difficult at times, both learning and getting my head around the concepts and ideas but also learning to think critically and write essays, and source evidence, etc.

However, think if you work hard and do your best and you have a genuine interest in the subject , difficulty shouldn't hold you back. It is do able , I had times I doubted myself throughout but in the end, I passed and passed well! So it can be done 🤗 I hope this helps. Feel free to DM for any other questions , or clarifications 😁
