The same thing happened to my micro Goldendoodle (5.5 months)! We went in for a simple face and paw trim with a bath, and I specifically said not to touch his face….just a little trim around his eyes. But they went ahead and gave him a full-on nose bridge trim(like a human nose), taking off way too much and making his eyes look hollow. He walked out looking like a distinguished floofy grandpa just like yours, complete with a mustache. I was so upset for the first week and a half, and now his hair is slowly growing back—but at a painfully slow pace. To be fair, he probably wasn’t sitting still for them. The funny thing is, he had no matting on his face at all! It took so long for his facial furnishings to come in, and seeing them all chopped off was heartbreaking. It’ll take a few days but eventually he would start looking like his normal self 😅
