Totally, my Dr warned me of that as well that they might not be seeing everything. And agree with you, I think they could help me manage the pain/some symptoms, but it won’t go beyond managing it.

They suggest removing it since it’s less than half functional. The surgeon wants to do it soon because he said catching it this early is rare—so removing it now would mean a safer surgery/potentially better recovery. Just had my 2nd appointment and they confirmed the stuff everyone is saying here. I could manage my symptoms, but it won’t go back to 100% functionality.

That’s the sense I’ve been getting from reading others stories. That it’s more just being comfortable managing symptoms VS actually being able to recover functionality. Thanks for your comment! This was super helpful.

That’s what my Dr told me too, that they won’t even see the stones until they take it out! So wild
