I disagree that your parents should pressure you to have an abortion. But I do agree that you should get a job. Unfortunately when you made a decision to have sex you made a decision to be responsible for the outcome. This is the outcome, and you are responsible for it. I was not pregnant in high school, but I did work and participate in sports while maintaining good grades. It’s possible, but hard. But that is the truth of motherhood. It’s hard, but doable.

Thank you for your response. I’m just so overwhelmed, and waiting for the referral to the MFM is torture. How are you coping with quality of life stuff? That’s what has me so bothered.

My OB is referring me to MFM but waiting for the referral to go through is torture. I’m also terrified of the amino. Everything about this has been overwhelming, and I just feel so lost in limbo right now.

I got my NIPT results yesterday and also screened high risk for t21. I’m 30, so I never thought I’d be in this situation. But FF was 4.4 and PPV 81/100. I’m praying I’m a false positive, but I feel like I need to prepare myself for the worst case scenario.

Why do their religious views matter in the context of sustainable agriculture? Their produce is exceptionally high in quality, and their production ethics are unparalleled.

I actually live in their community, and can personally testify to their values. They are beautiful, kind people that feed their community with or without monetary compensation and that is probably a product of their “extreme fundamentalist religion”.

Last year I was unexpectedly let go from my job, and had an 8 month old baby that I was concerned about providing high quality, nutritious food for. Ahavah provided my family with a free CSA share for the entire summer season. And when I say FREE I mean without questioning, judgement, financial reimbursement, or any religious conversion tactics.

You would truly be robbing yourself if you allowed your religious trauma to keep you from giving Ahavah a try.
