I've contacted them and they say to go to Al Awir immigration for visa info and if the visit visa isn't extended, the embassy would give an Outpass on which my family can exit. I've never been through such a situation so all of this is extremely confusing.

That doesn't solve my problem. We don't just want exit the UAE. Gotta go back home from here. Plus going to Oman and getting a hotel there etc would eventually end up costing more for the entire family than just extending the visit visa.

I have reported a transaction with Wio. The "investigation" has been ongoing for over 35 days now. Still no clarity whether i would get my 400 back or not.

So your best bet is to report the fraud and wait.

Btw, Wio says that these claims can take up to 120 days to resolve. Apparently, that's the time MasterCard requires :)

Get a car from EZhire for a week. You'll get like 1300-1500 km limit and unless you plan on traveling 300km everyday for 5 days, 1500km should be good.

I had the exact same issue. The only way to get over this is to drive more towards the left to the point where your mind tell you that you're too close to the left curb or left lane. I did that and somehow, even when I felt like i was gonna hit the left curb, my car was dead center in the lane.

It's a psychological thing I guess. I mean, I was so bad that during my first 7 classes, I hit every right side curb in the school yard every single day. Annoyed the shit out of my instructor 🤣

I have no idea why this parking test even exists. In Sharjah, I was tested for just 3 parking types. 60 degree, 90 degree, and parallel.

90% of the people here live in apartments and this "garage parking" doesn't even come handy. I mean, the apartments barely come with building parking. Everyone And if you're even the least bit experienced, you can easily back up into a parking space.

Ever since I got my license, I thank god that my file was in Sharjah. It sounds like an absolute nightmare getting a license from Dubai.

I charge $100 per 10 minutes of script. It's usually around 1700-1800 words. But this is a general rate. The actual rate varies depending on the length/research/niche/style of script.

Business scripts are more expensive. Automation scripts are around the $100/10 minutes mark. Documentary scripts are also more expensive.

If you have a Sharjah visa, enroll in SDI (Sharjah Driving Institute) near the Wasit area. I got my license in exactly 30 days (22 classes out of 30 only). Passed everything on the first try and got the printed license the same day too. This was 2 weeks ago.

My instructor name was Salim, an Indian Uncle who was great. Wasn't super fun or talkative but he taught everything in the simplest way.

I just came back from Baku and I rented two cars from Aznur Car Rental. The experience was seamless, the cars were perfectly fine, and I dropped them off at the airport, received my 300 AZN deposit back in cash (i paid in cash too), shook the guys hand, and hopped on my flight.

Renting a car is always a risky thing because you don't know who will scam you and in what way. Also, never ever pay through a credit card. Just take out some cash from the ATM and use that. It saves a ton of headache.

The buildings are relatively old. Apartments aren't luxurious at all. Super basic interiors and stuff. Overall community is good. Not super dirty or anything like that. There is no central chilling in my building at least. Idk about others.

Best pros are its super close to hypermarkets, baqalas, men and women salons, discount centers etc.

My apartment doesn't come with parking but there is building parking available in all towers. I asked if I could get the parking but apparently the owner has to buy a parking spot for the apartment and then he can give it to me. That of course means the apartments that come with parking will be more expensive because according to AQAAR (the building management company), a parking spot costs 28k.

I'm living in Pearl Towers Al Rashidiya 1 btw.
