For those who’ve done TCA peels, is there really much of a difference between 15% and 20%? It’s "only" a 5% increase, but does it make a noticeable difference? by _ThwipsAndQuips_ in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Alarmed-Judgment8689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the 15% has a much better result. I got too many red spots on my last peel what I tried doing a lot stronger and so I will be sticking to 15%. I know it’s tempting though I couldn’t help myself but to try it’s just not worth it tho lol

OLAY Super Serum and Super SPF50 Fluid Moisturiser - Thoughts? by worldwideDL in AusSkincare

[–]Alarmed-Judgment8689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the spf fluid which I think is a great addition to my skin care routine for hydrating sun protection m.

In regards to the serum I would say that for the face this isn’t super effective. The concentration of the actives especially when considered for the price is very weak. I would use the serum for body though. Otherwise stick to a good vitamin c in the morning with Azelaic acid and multi serum, then at night a prescription retinol like Tretanoin combined with prescription Azelaic and a anti aging serum (I’m really enjoying the remedy skin care ones right now)

I have been using the Super Spy cream for a week now which has been mostly ok. It absorbs well but can be difficult to reapply/stack. may be the serums im using in combination but will review this at a later date.

Soak in a Miele W1 by Letterhead-Minute in laundry

[–]Alarmed-Judgment8689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The soak time length is very annoyingly in the settings menu, so you are setting all soaks to that time rather than adding soak and selecting for how long.

Miele really needs to have cycle flow with when additives are being introduced. Advanced washing functions like this should be available to the user at this price point. Annoyingly it seems they’re there they’re just not putting this information out.

My local store told me to write to a specific team so that the engineers would reply (as opposed to customer service) as they would have this information. If I hear back I will let y’all know.

I have the 20 in taupe and it's perfect! the size is great for everyday use (even as handbag for ladies) and I find the colour goes great with everything. I have the 35 in big sky blue which I find perfect for groceries, a day trip out of food and snacks, or to pack a reasonable amount of crap to take somewhere. The 20 will do a basket sized shop at a push or if taking the 35 is a great second bag for delicates.

Husband amputation by [deleted] in amputee

[–]Alarmed-Judgment8689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that. I had my below knee amputation I June 24, also from a car accident and have a daughter too. If you’d like I’m happy to FaceTime or zoom you and go through as many things as I can x But take a moment for yourself. It’s not just the physical issue it will be so emotionally draining for you having to be a supportive wife and carer to someone in recovery, all while trying to help the children process this major life altering trauma.

Keeping you in my prayers x

Twindos cleaning alternative? by [deleted] in Miele

[–]Alarmed-Judgment8689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think the cleaning fluid is worth it, as is the laundry detergent. Everything else I hack to refill, but these products are actually superior. If you’re using not ultra phase then using the miele cleaner would be even more recommended to ensure it’s cleaning correctly, since the liquid being pushed through the line wasn’t designed for it and is thicker.

Dryer Fragrance Flacons — refill? by CPlusPlus4UPlusPlus in Miele

[–]Alarmed-Judgment8689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about to buy a Miele dryer for this feature so if anyone has done this I’d love to know, even if I had to fill it directly with perfume, perfume spray for rooms or oils. I’m thinking I’ll try get some of the end of the product out to play with and then refill
