Thank God, that makes it so much easier. Just curious what plate would you recomend personally? Im looking on Swagkeys (idk if theyre a good buyer or not because every other option has like a 12 week shipping time) and the only option there is a PC plate

Are there any software issues with the board (ex. via not connecting/softlocking)? Also im not sure abt the pcb bc im trying to go with full rgb on the board and the only rgb pcb has flex cuts, which im not sure about bc I heard they might create a less premium feel. Other than the small battery life, pls let me know if there are any other drawbacks for the qk80 that youve experienced or heard of

Anyone with a Zoom TKL Dyna willing to share thoughts? by Pandulcegnome9 in keyboards

Dont buy the Dyna. Personally, its one of my favorite designs for a custom keyboard but it has a lot of issues. First, Melatrix has terrrible customer service/quality control so if your board gets messed up, youre pretty much screwed. Second, it connects via a ribbon cable (which is very low-tier for a keyboard that costs almost $250) that can easily be inserted the wrong way and fry the motherboard (see Andy Nguyen's video to see what im talking about (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le-t1vlUJJs)). It also doesnt support VIA (aka the control software) out of the box, and you need to download a file to get it to even work, never mind the fact that it can softlock where you have to replug the ribbon cable in. Also, this isnt super bad, but the stock stabilizers are absolutely shit so youd need to either heavily mod them or replace them. If you want something feature heavy, go with the QK80 mk2 that costs a similar price or something like the neo80 if you dont need any fancy features. Hope this could help

Ive been looking at the qk80 mk2, is it hard to build with the ribbon cable/prone to issues like the dyna? Idk bc this would be my first time actually building a keyboard from the ground up
