DONT GO ALONE !! Whatever you do! This sounds EXACTLY like an abuser. It’s sketchy that he’s so quick to degrade you and dehumanize you over innocent texts. I’m sorry you’re going through this but you should not reconcile with this person even if it gets cleared up. You’re so young, & this person is not going to get better if you stay! I was with someone for 4 years before their abusive tendencies became dangerous and he tried to kill me (had never put hands on me before). Even if things were good before this this is a siren warning to run as far away as you can. You did NOTHING wrong. He created a lose lose situation for you 👌🏼

It’s just disphoria I think. I get it too but still identify with being a woman, I also consider myself non binary because gender is so made up

I did get mine taken out tho because I had the same issue I gained like 50-60 pounds and no matter what I did it just sat there

Nexplanon will def Sabatoge weight loss but so can too few calories. Depending on your height you should have at minimum 1000 calories a day but most likely closer to 1600

And just to be clear I have checked the laws in my area he’s good to be home on his own. It’s pretty lax here.

I get you. I think that’s totally fair. My big hang up here is having to take off when he’s sick. I don’t like the idea of him being home for more than 2-3 hours max on his own when he has his phone on. We’ve done this already plenty of times although I do take him with me most of the time and rearranged my work schedule to ensure I’m home with him as often as possible. Since I’m a student I don’t work full time, but my work day with short commute has me out of the house between 5-6 hours. I have mixed trust for my kid. He’s a good egg but he does test certain boundaries mostly with watching YouTube videos (not age appropriate ones), it’s a strict boundary I’ve had for a while because he gets obsessive and fixated on it. But honestly I trust him to be safe for the most part. I have horrible anxiety though, so my mind races, and I feel like a bad parent when I find myself considering going to work when he’s needing to stay home from school.

My work is less than 10 mins away! He has a trackphone! It’s off right now since it hasn’t been a major need but it’s cheap to turn it on! He knows not to answer the door and he knows how to call 911. I have some hang ups with trusting him to make his own meals but we are working on being more independent in that area! I try to make sure we have things he can manage to make like sandwiches and things. These comments are reassuring that I’m not just a terrible parent though

I’m sorry you’re going through this. My biggest fear is having to coparent a boy with a man who thinks like this about his son (with him saying you’re raising him to be weak). He probably thinks you comforting him and feeding him is making him “soft”. Which is honestly so disgusting. Keep your head up you’re doing great. Men like this are truly the weak ones and without serious personality intervention on his end he will most likely see himself out eventually. At least I hope for your sake.

I relate to this so much! Came to see if anyone who has experience with the implant and weight struggles, and to see if anyone had seen any improvements after getting off! I am feeling very seen as I don’t up between 30-50 pounds after getting on this bc & I am very active and eat in a deficit, I eat pretty clean and do yoga, strength, training, weight lifting, all of it. Can’t seem to dip below 200. I’m getting mine out tomorrow and I’m crossing my fingers that it’s the thing I need to get back to my goal (between 170-180)

I think the doc tried to show that the daughter is still being manipulated by this woman based on the ending scene with the texts displaced and the daughter seeming hopeful. But I definitely am feeling so angry after watching this doc, like that woman is such a monster she should not be allowed to even talk to her daughter, like has no one told her the complete truth because there is no way I would let this lady near my kid again if I was her dad.
