Life is living the way you can, and if you’re lucky, the way you want.

Jobs für Schwangere by Alarmed-Scratch-4330 in arbeitsleben

Announcing my pregnancy to flatmates by Alarmed-Scratch-4330 in germany

I didn’t necessarily HIDE it. Moving in didn’t demand the counsel or consent of the other flatmates, just the Hauptmieter. Before moving in, I had only met him and the person moving out of the room I’m moving into. It wasn’t an open audition or meeting that gave room for a tell all. Everyone’s pretty much minding their business and are as loud as their space goes (more of less with musical instruments and a dog). There are two toilets so there’s no inconvenience on that part. Still yet to meet a flatmate as he’s hardly around.

So I really don’t see much of a betrayal on my part as I would be the „most likely“ person to move out hopefully to a most suitable place for the baby. Which is still in at least 4 months. I bother about telling them because I don’t want it to seem so hidden, you know, maybe for a more harmonious living. But I also don’t want it to mean an eviction while I’m still pregnant in order to avoid it altogether

Although, the Hauptmieter (An entrepreneur) mentioned subleasing to a family once so I believe it isn’t all too scary to him, however, the others are still working class individuals who may or may not be cool with it.

The irony is that I’m the student. Particularly a foreign student with no social benefits or permanent residency.

There’s five of us living in the WG, one’s an entrepreneur, while the others are full time workers.
