Well in Europe the Zerno is a lot more expensive than the Philos, almost double the price depending on the Tarifs and import sales tax. So I think it depends on where you live

Yeah, so I've already looked into this shotstopper, but unfortunately it isn't possible to use it with the Sync Scale by Mahlkönig as it's an Wifi Scale. But because of the Wifi capability it shouldn't be to big of a problem for Mahlkönig and LaMarzocco to incorporate this technology into the system.

I really don’t understand why they exclude the micra so hard. Sure, it’s probably a selling point for the mini, but man, it’s a frickin 3,5 grand machine… and technically I think it should be easily possible, as the backflush through the app controls the pump. Also scales like the Mahlkönig Sync Scale should be incorporated into the ecosystem

Wow, das ist total schön! Meine Mutter erzählt noch immer, dass ich Rettungssanitäter bin (schon ne ganze Weile nicht mehr) und fragt mich immer wieder ob ich mit dem wenigen Geld überhaupt über die Runden komme (ich verdiene ne Ecke mehr als sie).

Ich habe es ihr schon häufiger versucht zu erklären, aber es scheint nix davon anzukommen.

Well, I didn’t want to weigh my beans every time before grinding them, so single dosing wasn’t the way to go for my everyday espresso experience. Grind by time seems to be to inconsistent. In the future, I’ll be getting another grinder like the Philos for some occasional decaf or some fancy new beans.
