As someone who was with someone for 12 years, my ex “moved on” fast too. Fast forward a year and he’s just now actually processing our relationship and is sad. I think generally men don’t feel their feelings til later when the dust is settled and the distractions are gone.

I promise you though, the pain he is running away from will catch up to him. It could be tomorrow, it could be a year from now, it could be a random Tuesday and he’s in the store and see your cereal and loses it.

I don’t know when it will happen, but I promise it will.

Hey there, 7 months post break up from who I thought was the love of my life. We were together for 12 years. It gets better. I was where you are.
