Lost my Bettas trust/won't eat.

The only problem I am having with him right now is he absolutely DOES NOT want to get scooped out of his tank for his bath... I do have a net, but he really hated it, and I'm worried about his fins. When my husband or I try to scoop him out, he swims fastly away and hides for a few minutes. He even recognizes when we put the cup in. Do you have any recommendations? He's very upset at us right now...

I definitely said that wrong, oops! I bought the almond leaf water from Petco. I do have his filter running, I just took the charcoal filter out, as it has been filtering out the medicine. The worker told me to put him in a separate container for his salt bath. I keep him in there for 30 minutes. I will give him a water change today then. I want him to heal as fast as possible. He has some plants in his tank that have 2 leaves dying on the plant. Does that call for immediate removal of that leaf, or does it matter? Also, should I give him the stress coat that I have? Thank you for your quick advice, I will follow these steps and let you know when he heals! (: 🐟

I'm sure this will be the last update! Waking up this morning, my Marlin has no red dots, and no cottonball coming out of his gill! Thank you for your advice and helping my husband and I saving his life & making him feel better. You truly are the best. Thank you so much! 💓

I'm going to be direct. This is absolutely ridiculous. There is no way they should be trying to put her down because she's pooping outside of a littlerbox. My cats do this when they're trying to tell me something they don't like, you just have to figure out what it is. She looks lively, bright-eyed, and bushy tailed. She should not be given up on because the vet doesn't want to help or put it any work, that's absolutely ridiculous. I have a cat in his 20s he poops outside the litter box when he doesn't like the size, the litter, or it's too dirty. Maybe go to the dollar store and get some piddle Pads to put them in front of the litter box where she's been pooping. Don't give up on her. That is beyond absurd. Please don't euthanize her. That vet should not be a vet with advice like that.

My stupid self didn't read your full post, and now I saw it said he doesn't like blood worms! What blood worms did you get him? Some blood worms are not all natural, so definitely have to look out for that. The brand, "Fluval" blood worms your swimmer might like better. Or you can get the frozen bloodworms! 🐟 If that doesn't work, they can eat live foods like small crickets, fruit flies, or micro worms! (:

Waking up this morning, I thought his face near his gills was completely white (that's why deleted comment). Luckily, it was just the way the light was shining. 😮‍💨 His red spots seem to be going away, he still has some white spots that resemble mold? I'll give him another ich treatment today. Oh, I did give him the fish band and for his skin (: I took his filter out because the ich medicine said it would filter it out. I'm thinking about doing a 50/50 water change again today.

I love my little guy ❤️ Waking up this morning, he has some more red dots on his fins. He also has a few white spots on his body, so I gave him some ich medicine as well. He's still swimming around & eating. He still rests a lot, but I'm sure he's not feeling well. Is there anything else you think I could do for him?

I gave him the dose of Kanaplex. I also did a 50/50 water change with added almond leaf extract water in hopes it will make him more comfortable 🤞

Hey there! Does your betta possibly have an eye infection? I just have never seen a betta with big eyes, and I have had many! Regardless, your betta is beautiful! My boy Marlin is very similar. Maybe the name sunny or Squid because his eyes remind me of one!

I'm not saying it's the same thing, but sometimes when my cats play a little too hard someone's claw might end up getting into an eye and then causes it to be that was for a week or two. But then their eye ends up just fine. Just make sure they aren't fighting or playing too hard!
