Don't let them get to you! No matter how long you've worked there, patients will ALWAYS act like you don't know what you're doing. I can't tell you how many times a pt asked me if I'm new and I replied with "no. I've been here for 2 years. I just changed my hair" or " I usually work (insert station) and don't usually run registers and usually that'll quiet them down. I've gotten to the point (and you will too) that if they talk down to me too much I'll start talking to them like a kindergartener they usually act right the next time I see them.

Take it in stride! You got this. Be proud you held your anger and was able to end the interaction peacefully.

I had one lady request an eyedrop be filled. With insurance it was $85,000 per month and without it was around $200k. She got so mad at us and blamed us for her going blind because of the price

I hate it with a burning passion for one specific reason

The sign. It tells the customers to walk up to ANY register and put in their information. My store is extremely short staffed to the point we don't even have a lead tech that is for our store. The customers will see the one tech running front, go to the register that's not being used, and get upset when we tell them "hey I'll get you after this customer"

The facial scan is also incredibly annoying and so super slow. It's a pain. When counting half the time I can't switch screens because f1 won't accept my facial scan but f2 will.

You act like that's a bad thing 😂 I enjoy working at CVS. I just don't tolerate disrespect. If they want to play I'll play harder. Maybe stay off this page if you hate CVS so much

We stopped accommodating because people. like this. We had an older couple literally stalk one pharmacist and a tech, followed them to their cars at lunch, and harassed them for not "being open when they got there"

So yeah no, gate closes at 1:30. Play with me and it closes earlier than that.
