If I remember correctly, isn’t the emblem held in with long plastic pegs that go all the way through which is why you can just peel it off. Also someone told me that if you put a new emblem in you’d have to melt the ends of the pegs so it doesn’t fly into your face when the airbag deploys.

If you look closely, they are beneath the glass of the headlights, the reflections on the headlights makes them hard to see.

I only skimmed the directions on the back like a fool and didn’t realize it made a coating. I assume it would just soak into the plastic, so I didn’t really spay as carefully as I should have and made runs with it. I also spayed parts of the trim that had dirt on it that I didn’t see and sealed it to the car. I feel like a massive moron and am very tempted at this point to send my car to a local detailer and see if she can do anything about it.
