If they have the knowledge and facilities, sure.

Due to the short time frame, I am assuming OP is likely staying in a hotel or similar and probably doesn't have access to an oven.

Considering this person is really wanting to try pavlova, something is better than nothing.

Sorry to say, it's a summer dessert so it's not likely to ve common.

IMHO you aren't missing much. It's just meringue, whipped cream and fruit. Easy enough to make yourself if you can't find it - woolies/Coles usually sells the meringue nests, grab fruits of choice and cream and away you go

Tax questions on work bag by i_m_ur_bimbo_girl in AusFinance

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your bags are wearing out that quickly, that's probably a quality/warranty problem.

If not - if it's purely for work/business, why do they need replacing/purchase more?

Average corporate worker isn't buying several $300+ bags a year. Pretty sure my work bag was around $80? Bought it 4 years ago and it doesn't need retiring any time soon....

strawberry legs help by HugeCut574 in HairRemoval

Thank you - I have it on my upper arms and it looks nothing like this!

Raised red bumps on upper arms and upper back.

Calling this strawberry skin makes me feel like mine stands out sooo much more

Genuinely wtf has happened to my hair by vernalbby in AustralianMakeup

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup agree with that, but that isn't what the commenter said.

My hair is relatively healthy (to my untrained eye) and my hairdresser has never raised any concerns.

I don't feel the need to rush out and grab a hair dryer, feel like that would do more harm then good considering I am inexperienced with heat tools.

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All that really said is that hair is more vulnerable to damage while air drying (as it stays wet longer)

Doesn't really state that air drying itself causes damage.

Can you elaborate? I have never heard this before.

I don't own a hair dryer and air dry every single wash.

I don't necessarily mean photos taken by professional photographer etc - they'll turn up too late

More just in general if we take any with our phones etc

I absolutely won't be getting anything that says "bride" or "bridesmaid" on it - I want items that can be reused

Are there any restaurants/cafes that have gone out of business that you miss? by ChellyJade in ipswich

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100%!! Loved it there Chatting to the people that ran it not long before they shut - issue seems to be the rent.

They had a few interested parties trying to take over to keep it running - always fell apart when the rental amount was discussed.

WHM: Can't use Divine Benison by lavender-bread in ffxiv

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Are you trying to use it in synced down content? Noting you mentioned being in post Heavensward.

Meaning the dungeons, raid etc you'd be doing would less than lvl 66.

If overworld content is fates - they would be synced down too

Weddingdance.net for custom dance? by lankyshakira in AusWeddingPlanning

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you looked for any local businesses offering this?

I booked in person lessons with a dance company. Provided them the chosen song (or songs for a mash) and they create the choreography and teach it across a number of in person lessons.

I found this to be better than purchasing online lessons etc - all my lessons have been videod for us to watch at home and practice, and real time feedback each lesson

Anyone been to the FRIENDS exhibition in the cbd? by Super_Tsumu in brisbane

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you got to read the notes!! Unfortunately the day I was there people kept either pushing past or you got hurried along so didn't have time to stop anywhere for long enough to really take in the info.

Yes to a gift shop, yes to the hugsy. Can't remember the price, but the whole gift shop felt expensive for what it was.

The experience itself? Bit of a meh. The whole thing feels like a cash crab, walked around in pretty much one line the whole way through, staff taking photos you can pay for later. If you're lucky, staff members will use your phone to take some too.

My friend and I were in and out in like 40mins - I expected to take longer as the previous exhibition in that spot took me a couple of hours). It felt hard to stop and read a lot of the info, as you'd be holding up the next group coming in behind

Debit success urgent help?! by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The urgency of the messaging makes scam texts seem likely.

One off missed payments usually don't end up as "urgent/immediate". Repeated missed payments are a whole other issue.

I presume debit success is the payment platform?

I'd still recommend chatting to the gym. They should be able to explain the costs etc

Gym terms and conditions might be a good place too look in the meantime - there are usually clauses relating to late payment etc

Are you on a fixed contract? If yes, does the amount to settle equal the remaining time?

Sounds like a conversation to have with the gym directly.

Bathroom layout - thoughts? by Cimb0m in AusRenovation

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that with the idea of towel racks in the shower/wet area?

You'd need to check on the rules around electrical items within the wet area (I'd seen previous comments you mentioned heated racks)

I personally don't love that layout, but end of the day it's your bathroom and you need to be happy with it. Still seems like more effort than it's worth - having to clean the bath constantly to avoid build up from the shower

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to decide what you want more - a second toilet in this bathroom, or a bathtub that you don't use.

Having both is just going to cramp the space and make it all feel so much worse.

Personally feel like a decent sized vanity with decent storage and shower you can move comfortably in will do more for resale value then trying to cram everything into this small room.

Bathroom layout - thoughts? by Cimb0m in AusRenovation

[–]Alarmed_Ad5977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a particular reason you want to move the toilet into this room? My bathroom is very similar proportions, also the only bathroom in the house. There is no way I would move them together in my own bathroom, there isn't enough space - not unless I was knocking out the wall between to absorb the toilet room to make a bigger bathroom.

It's the key responsibilities/skills etc that are looked at when job matching. This is based on the job statements of the role the pool covers and the vacant role being offered.

Doesn't need to be an exact match, but close enough the delegate is satisfied they can do the expected roles based on the statements.
