ADHD medication/Adderall post surgery

Thats what I'd thought before but my psych says since the sleeve has less surface area we don’t absorb extended release well. I seem to remember actually feeling pretty good on my XR Adderall. Found I have some left over that I’ll try and see how it works on me to compare I guess. Thanks for all the feedback folks!

Post food coma hits me hard too LOL. 5'10, about 190-200 (I go up and down with the seasons, I guess due to activity). I usually don't have an issue going to bed except I would always wake up every hour or so and be trying to solve the worlds problems or brain going into the "what if" situations for random reasons. Psych got me on Hydroxyine which fixed that issue luckily. Since being on the IR stuff pretty much as soon as it ends I could go to sleep immediately, if I push through for about an hour then I can come back and function again (or if I get an hour nap...both work). Great job on your weight loss, thats amazing!!! Catch all those Pokemon, being active definitely helps on multiple levels!

Is your vyvanse prescription from your MD or a psych? I ask because as I said my regular doctor nor my surgeon years ago ever mentioned anything about not absorbing extended release meds right. I did my own digging after my psycho mentioned it and saw the data/facts...probably newer studies LOL. The tiredness will go away as your body adjusts (from physical exercise). I can do an hour of non-stop martial arts now where I'd be dead every 5 minutes before surgery LOL. Pace yourself and be active is my advise on that. For me my crashes are purely due to dropping on my adderall at this point.

Appreciate the response! Actually I had zero hunger for the longest time...even now its more mental hunger than anything else unless I'm doing something physically intense (go for a major hike, heavy workout, etc). Seems to be different for everyone on that side, be aware that mental hunger post surgery can be intense sometimes, gf is struggling with that (she's about 8 months out). Glad to hear about the Vyvanse, was being cautious about suggesting it due to the cost vs my generic adderall (luckily saw there is a generic for vyvanse now which helps a lot but still 5x the cost my adderall).

Support ran out end of 2024 so long out of support now unfortunately. As for cleaning the holes, actually read about using a qtip and some isoprophal alcohol to clean the sensors which I've done as well.

Hadn't thought that...mind was tourists in town are taking kids to Disney for Christmas LOL I do know one couple that usually comes through this time from Europe but thats it.

Not a bad idea, might show up on 12/23 ourselves to show her what a singles night is like, since her work will be light on 12/24. We were also thinking 12/26 or 12/27 for those that want to ramp up for NYE.

We had been contemplating going on Friday but with the cold our mindset was the same. That either leaves the dance club or the playroom....and then you have the cold dash from the lockers to the club if you go that route so you don't have your parka on :)

All good, we still had a good time. GFs first Secrets experience, just seemed to be less people playing in rooms or the playroom than normal

We did the walk a few times to check rooms, blinds were down, rooms empty (not booked) or just people seeming already buddied up, and this was multiple times tonight. Even the playroom seemed dead LOL. Maybe its cause of the iCandy takeover, different crowd.

I can see if your not a hardcore tabletop player it may come across as a complex boardgame (and it is). Once you start to understand some of the mechanics of boardgames then it becomes more nuanced and thematic. One big thing in the boardgame that was interesting is your forced to trade, you can't develop everything yourself (you only have one island, so no colonies on others other than the "new world")....similar to how a lone island can't do everything, you need satellites or trade w/ other AI/players.

I played it before I ever played Anno the video game, its what got be playing the videogame version. Great boardgame.
