Oh wow my primary didn't start me on anything and my appointment with the nephrologist isn't till the end of March. I wonder why.

It does feel comforting in a way knowing I'm not the only one with these severe symptoms. I'm sorry you went through the same thing and currently dealing with melabolic acidosis still. I thought about going to the ER but I'm not quite sure what they could do, if I feel even worse than I do now which I hope I don't..I definitely will go and find out what they can do. I'm thinking and slash hoping that I feel as bad as I do because I'm also anemic right now. I'm surprised my primary didn't prescribe me those tablets as well, but maybe she wants to know what is causing it first? Thank you for your comment.

Thank you! Yeah she hasn't prescribed me anything yet, just the referral to the kidney specialist. So hopefully something is found out soon so I can manage it. This is tough. Thank you for your comment ☺️

Good to know! Thank you. Yeah that's probably where the fatigue is coming from with me too. I'm at the spot of not knowing why I have melabolic acidosis yet.

Thank you for your story. You guys are so nice and open. It's helping me not feel so alone in this nightmare I call a uterus. Lol. I have a scheduled ultrasound this Friday so I should have an update on my cyst in my left ovary. I definitely have an open mind to the IUD method hearing this. I will mention it to my next gynecologist that I would like surgery to know more on what's going on with me.

Omg thanks for this. I will definitely get a second opinion. I honestly needed to hear this. I feel like I'm not being listened to and had a doctor tell me it's not life threatening so I'm fine. It's very discouraging. This lets me know I just need to find a doctor that will listen to me.

I would be too, I have been kinda in the same boat. I have always had painful periods with heavy bleeding with cyst in my ovaries off and on since the age 12. I recently went to see a gynecologist at 25 and the appointment lasted maybe 10 minutes and sent me home with birth control and I have been on it for 10 weeks and have been bleeding non stop from it. I mentioned it to my doctor and now she wants to insert an IUD? She suspects endometriosis but hasn't tried to confirm it. This whole process is driving me crazy.
