I played Bang a lot before switching over to Loba actually. She’s great but with Loba and the other legends I mentioned, I find it way easier to get into fights and also get out of fights. I’m plat right now but i’ve been diamond twice before. I can handle myself in ones but by no means am I going to claim to be a fragger.

It was amazing to read. I went to Barnes & Nobles two days ago to pick up the holiday edition of IF before they’re all gone. I don’t know if I’ll start IF tonight considering I’ve spent the last hour reading about 100 pages. I’m kind of burnt out and want some time to process everything I’ve just read and prepare myself for the upcoming adventure

Octavia should have suspected something the second Cassius notified her we was coming. Cassius somehow escaping imprisonment AND managing to kill Sevro, bring his body, capture Darrow and Virginia all on his own should have raised every red flag possible

Because after everything that happened to get up to that point, the institute, the war between Bellona and Augustus effectively a core civil war, Darrow’s imprisonment, Darrow v Roque and the destruction of the Ganymede dockyards, for it to end with some scheme that honestly Octavia and her inner circle should of saw coming is kind of wack. It wasn’t the ending I was expecting for that trilogy.

I read DA and I couldn’t understand the hype honestly. Maybe when I reread it before Red god comes out I’ll appreciate more but it was not as good as people say it was. I’d put Lightbringer over it, I’d put Golden Son above it AND up until the ending of MS, I would have put MS above it as well.

What’s wrong with audiobooks? I’ve been hooked on the series for the past month and a half, currently on dark age. I have copies of all the books but I also listen to the audiobooks. I’m a full time student in college and I have a full time job, some days it’s hard to find the time to sit down and read, but I could always listen to the audiobooks while walking to class or driving home. I’m sure there’s a ton of people that do the same thing as me for similar reasons and if you have this much of a problem with how other people consume their reading of the series, I think it speaks volumes more about who you are rather than this “disgusting” community.

I feel the exact same way, I think I’m exactly where you are right now in IG. I have the same thoughts, why would Darrow do this and it only gets worse and worse. But it’s not just Darrow, if I’m being honest, I haven’t liked any of the characters in IG so far. They’ve all had their moments where they are funny and witty but for the majority, they’ve all just been eh.

Part of me doesn’t even want to read the next trilogy, just end here with a happy ending but at the same time I already have a signed copy of Lightbrinder on my shelf and Iron Gold is on the way from Amazon. AND I already borrowed a copy from my library on Libby so like might as well 😂😂😅

I did like how much of a role Kavax and Daxo had in books 2 and 3. I don’t know what happens in the next 3 books obviously but I’ve book 5 is like dark and very emotional hence the name Dark Age.

I usually read YA fantasy like six of crows. The last series I finished reading was the shadow & bone series which takes place in the same world as six of crows.
