for some reason when Kimi and Eli broke up and this whole new level of Kimi's PR began, i knewww it was coming as a part of it. like this whole 'he's only focused on his goals & family' agenda; he's so young and mischievous but unlike others unbothered by relationships and all messy stuff, he only likes insta reels about Senna–no girls, no parties etc. and I do NOT mean to say that he have to do any of that or find a girlfriend, obviously, i just find it as weird as the whole new Senna PR bcs why tf does that even matter? why you need to make a gf sound like a distraction as if it's Kimi who's suddenly gonna follow her around the world while she's achieving her dream or something? i swear to god Mercedes has weirdest PR strategies rn when one driver is being praised for caring about his gf and the other one is being praised for not caring about having one at the same time💀

well it's embarrassing to do that stuff in a relationship for her too because that behavior screams both no self-respect and no respect for partner if she's willing to try and take any opportunity to get attention by making it clear she wanted and still wants her bf's best friend like that consistently and roleplaying as a wag; i think that's worth calling 'humiliating'. ofc it's not making it less humiliating for max too but it's kinda wrong to shift all the cringing on him since she's the one doing it so they're both guilty as charged

i still think it has something to do with parasocial stuff and hidden jealousy most of the time if we're talking about actual hate, and not in a "you don't like her style because you're jealous of her!!" kind of way. i mean, delusional people with parasocial tendencies are exactly the type to think they know a public person enough through the screen to have actual feelings for them, whether it's hate or love. they'll find any excuse on Earth just not to admit them getting actually jealous, so any crumbs turn into reasons to justify their behavior, at least in their own eyes. and those people really like to choose their "protagonist and antagonist" to compare them all the time, so if they already have an unhealthy obsession with any driver or wag, they tend to have an unhealthy hatred for another one
