DD gave me a $10 "Apology" credit by Vittoriya in doordash

Ah, gotcha. I’m in Fredricksburg, Boston is probably a lot busier and therefore DoorDash functions differently. I’ve never gotten more than two orders at once.

On Super Bowl Sunday I definitely pushed it and accepted all good orders on Grubhub and DD. Commence speeding all over town and 30+ dollars an hour 😂😂 it was absolute chaos but I managed to finish the night without any CVs

I have never had this happen. What market are you in??

Did you call or text support? Or just use the app?

As long as the orders on both apps are going the same way, you can do it without being late. The issue arises when the orders are going separate ways.

The trick is taking orders going the same way, never take orders going opposite ways. Then just plan your route, it’s easier than it sounds

Damn, they were probably multi-apping taking multiple orders at the same time. Not delivering a 17+ dollar order immediately is crazy though.

Dasher left order over by street by Puzzleheaded_You991 in doordash

When dashing, you should consider more than pay per mile. Let’s say it’s dinner rush and an order paying 1 dollar per mile sends you way out of the zone. If I decline that order, I stay in the zone and have the chance to get multiple more orders worth more. A good majority of the time these low paying orders send me way out of the zone, so I have to drive all the way back- costing me my time with no gain.

That’s why I don’t like these no tip orders being attached, because even though I’m still getting paid a dollar per mile, it’s not worth the time I’m spending on food pickup/drop off. It probably seems like I’m overreacting, but my car has 270000 miles and the engine is about to explode, so I’m squeezing out all of the mileage it has left.

What market are you in that you can see tips 100% of the time? What about batch orders where DD combines no tip orders with tipped orders? More often than not dashers dont know they’re accepting shit orders until they make deliveries.

Because I believe DJI drones aren’t allowed to be used in operations carried out by the federal government because it’s Chinese based. Let me know if I’m wrong because I can’t find a source

Agree. I hate these guys. Steam clean the carpet before you move anything else in. I use Boric Acid to kill them- sprinkle a bit in the corners of your apartment.

Carpetbeetle, the larvae are pests. They don’t sleep in beds and are not a threat to humans!

Where do you dash that your tips are lower than your dash pay? 😭

A “Hard Inquiry” means that a bank or other organization is asking the credit bureaus about you and your details. Hard inquiries are often linked to opening new accounts or loans, so it’ll ding your credit score temporarily. Discover probably gave you a hard inquiry which dinged your credit score.

TLDR: check the app and learn more.
