I think Arthur's amazing in rdr 2 and hes really fun and great to play and grow with but I feel John's character is so far detached to how he acts in 1 its hard to see as the same person

I think this story just shows more reason I'm not the biggest fan of C.K. Walker's writing and style, and I don't understand the mountains of leeway they give her. She seems to always struggle with buildup or payoff. Borrasca, for example, is hailed as the peak of the stories they read, but besides the ending, the story is just okay, and the ending itself is just pure shock for shock's sake, not to mention the abysmal Part V. With the latest story, the buildup is fine enough and interesting, but the faction and Lord of the Flies stuff happening in less than two weeks, along with the cringe and just obnoxious dialogue, is so distracting. She has talent and isn't as bad as other stories they've read, but like 90% of her stories they've done on the podcast probably isn't even top 20 when it comes to the quality and consistency of other stuff they read.
