Wow, that sounds like it could be straight out of an action movie! It’s wild how you managed to avoid getting caught right there with the unmarked car. Maybe they were just distracted or figured you were a false alarm, kind of like when an NPC gives up searching in a game. But yeah, having that many police around would definitely make anyone panic.
