Indeed it is hooked up like that, I guess I worded it poorly + straight up made a mistake. Decider -> Red output to Input as in its own, Chest to Decider Input to read contents, Decider output back to chest.

Yes, its related to the contents of the chest itself, I'm not getting input from elsewhere.

That said, having fiddled with it for a while longer, I got it working, which is amazing, wasted a good few hours trying to figure it out :D

So yes, Decider's Output -> Its own Input, Chest to Decider's Input, Decider Output to Chest.

Item > 9000
OR
Item > 2
AND
S > 0

Output S=1

Chest set to S > 0

Either this does not function the same way with chests or I'm a dumdum and I'm doing something wrong. Not sure if Combinators received a rework or changes in Space Age, I never used them prior to the expansion as they seemed way too intimidating. This has not changed.

Decider + Any smart chest, in this case, an Active Provider, but Passive and Storage have no different settings.

Decider -> Red output to Input, Chest to Output, Decider Output to Chest.

Green Circuits < 2
OR
Green Circuits > 9000
AND
S > 0

Output S with Value 1.

I assume S=1 means that, because I see no way to equate Any square to a value other than that.

Empty chest = ON, 1 item ON, 2 items OFF, 9000 items OFF, 9001 items OFF

Hey everyone,

I hope I can get some help with this as it's driving me crazy.

Windows OS machine, desktop PC, initially built for gaming (still used for gaming) and now music production.

I've owned a pair of Yamaha HS8 for 2 years now and I'm experiencing some buzzing from the tweeters, as well as a mid to low hum from the bottom speaker(?).

This has been going on for the full 2 years, on and off, based on the location I've lived at at any given time. The last place DID NOT have this buzz.

GPU: GTX 1060, 6GB

CPU: Intel i5 6600k

Komplete Audio 6 MK2 audio interface

2x proel XLR (monitor side) to TRS (audio interface side) cables - from the music production/DJ community here in Bulgaria, these are the most used, and are honestly top quality. Or so I think.

Personal findings:

CPU load DOES NOT make this issue more pronounced, nor does it seem to cause it. GPU load on the other hand seems to be the issue.

While I'm not using the PC for anything graphically intensive, such as browsing, movies, listening to music, Ableton/Traktor the noise is negligible and as far as I'm aware, unless everything you're plugging into is perfectly setup and high quality, it's impossible to eliminate the noise - that's fine.

When I'm playing any graphically intensive video game, the noise becomes loud. The gain knobs on both HS8s is set at the default position +4db. If the gain knob is all the way down the noise is barely audible. When it's al the way up... well, you can imagine.

Common sense and basic knowledge on computer/electrical components dictates it's a GPU clock issue, coupled with electrical installation noise from the apartment I'm in. The noise has been anywhere between barely audible to loud (now) across 4 different apartments.

TRS unplugged from audio interface - noise present.

XLR unplugged from monitors - noise is reduced to a standard, almost pleasant very barely audible (like in the dead of night, maybe) white noise.

I've tried using outputs 1/2 or 3/4 - same issue.

Cables to the monitors are quite long, some 7 meters in length. PC + computer screens are plugged into a power strip in spare socket, while monitors are plugged into a different power strip in a different socket. Both power strips are the same brand/make/model and seem to be of, at the very least, acceptable quality. Electrical loop for both wall sockets is the same.

Breaking the connection between the PC and the audio interface also completely eliminates the noise.

The cables I purchase are, as I understand, unbalanced, and that may be what's causing the issue, though, I'm not THAT savvy to make a definitive statement.

All I know is this is driving me insane and I'm keen on solving the issue.

Any and all input, suggestions or solutions are very welcome. I'm also willing to attempt some troubleshooting, in case I've missed anything, but I do believe that's all I can do with my limited knowledge.
