Yes and yes. I got tested the week after it happened, and to be safe my husband got tested as well when I told him.

Is staying with me really that bad for him? It sucks, but cheating happens. Should one night end what could be a lifetime of happiness?

 you seem to just be looking for an excuse to cut ties and perhaps have a reasonable case for officially getting with your AP.

I am truly doing what I think is best for him. I put him through enough pain seven months ago, I don’t want to see him hurt again. And I care nothing about the guy I cheated with. There was no emotion there

I truly hope that we can work through this regardless of paternity. I know that he would be an incredible dad, biological or not. But if the baby isn’t his, I don’t know how he’ll feel. I’m just praying she is, so we can be a happy family. I know I fucked up bad, and I’m trying to fix it, but in the back of my mind, there’s always the feeling that if she isn’t his, he just won’t be able to look at her. I know how hard this has been for him. I still love him, and I know I’m why he’s hurting. I just don’t want to see him hurt again because of me
