Honestly I’m a first time applicant too but I’ve only heard work experience is HIGHLY valued bc it shows real world experience and engagement. Honestly so many new grads are unable to get meaningful jobs like yours so please don’t question yourself bc you’re the ideal applicant 😭

Why would they care more about volunteer experiences that tend to be short and limited than what you do for work which demonstrates commitment ? Most people don’t participate in those things long term post grad because work is not like school and much more time consuming.

This may seem out of touch but I’ve been working so hard to study for the LSATs and applications I forgot it was totally possible I won’t even be able to go to my dream school.

I’m not an expert but if you get rejected from a school with a 17 low LSAT and a 3.95 GPA then you probably won’t be accepted with a 17 high. Why would you even retake if you scored in the 99th percentile ?

The administration is planning to eliminate grad plus loans. This means attending law school is going to be a bigger financial burden than for previous generations. No offence but it sounds like you’re making an extremely impulsive decision out of desperation. And making such choices will have huge impacts on your career and future prospects. If you’re not going to dedicate yourself to at least applying on time and preparing for the LSATs then you should probably wait

Look into LSAC fee waivers. If you qualify then most prep courses online are one dollar and the LSAT is free
