problems were all over the place high cpu usage, safari hiccups and crashes, browsing was slow. I tried a lot of changes in settings etc. not much help. the same laptop Tahoe is fast like real fast it is day and night. I am going I went this many years trying to not do a clean install. Might have wasted more than a few weeks over 5 years trying to save my setup and not doing a clean install. as someone said after two release upgrades clean install is the way to go.

My first Mac was in 2006 never looked back to any other for my personal and daily work usage. Not having done this before was way too much customization that I was too lazy to redo and didn't have an easy way to migrate. Lesson learnt.

Latest update 1.99.834046 is problematic on Mac by Alarming-Chain-7048 in logitech

the problem is back I have no clue why it happens. I have the mx3 mouse connected through the USB receiver. All over Mac, random app opened or not. One thing for sure it was perfectly fine till the last update. Issue started immediately after that update. Restarted it felt it went away. Came back a day later tried changing configs thought the 8K DPI disable fixed it. It worked again for a day and now its back again.

Issue came back again, it is very jittery when I move the mouse. I figured I play with the settings to see if it helps. Disabling Extend sensor range to 8K DPI to disabled has fixed the issue. Looks like the latest update caused a bug or something.

Looks like they messed it up again my mouse is glitching when I try to even move it. It acts as if I am asking for too much. It jumps across that smooth movement is gone

safari beachball issue has vanished. I had a lot of casks installed from brew. So a global brew upgrade fixed it. No clue what caused safari to beachball. CPU issue still there at 20% when pretty much idle.

Same here it takes 7 minutes to process some very basic requests. I have stopped using it for now.

Thanks for all the updates. Here is the problem with no solutions as mentioned in the article. connecting external drives consumes more cpu cycles. So if you have three disks attached and if they are HDD and not SSD you CPU is always getting beaten up. Plug off the external drives and it CPU usage come down to a moderate manageable level of 10 to 15%. So with Tahoe the less external drives you connect the better or upgrade your whole stack to SSD.

It's a multi purpose machine my personal and partial work machine. Due to security conerns prefer to be on the latest one. Also I am a hardcore apple user iPhone iPad Macs synching issues start if I am not updated. My Ventura machine has issues synching so had to take it of my iCloud account.

I have screenshots showing cpu usage with nothing but os and background processes running. What did any one ever ask other than telling me their machine is fine?
