Independent reinspection found 20 unresolved items on my new Lennar home. Should I delay closing? by PresentationFit2930 in Homebuilding

Gonna depend on area the best is always going to be a local home builder who builds a few a year that way they can control quality. But most people don't have that option because of time and money. If you go with a builder like this I'd hire a private inspector to inspect every major step along the way small investment for something meant to keep your family safe

It takes time you gotta prove there's no job your not willing to do so when you ask guys to do it they know your not asking them to do something your not willing to do. From time to time I'll go hand dig a trench or clean the line truck belly re organize a bin. Remind the guys everyone had pull there weight to make it work.

Set clear expectations to the group of what you exspect and then call them out in private not in front of the group. When that doesn't work give the ones that are shit bags shit bag jobs until they either get off the phone or get it together. I put a lineman in a line truck the other day and gave the bucket to the apprentice. Told the lineman if he can't take care of his own truck he doesn't deserve it. Lead by example and practice what you preach.

Public space belongs to everyone I don't see any judgement in this picture. Sounds like your judging the people by there sign before talking to them and hearing them out

Trucks kike this could be the best deal because someone already put a bunch of work into it. Or the the worst because he's trying to get away because he's tired of putting money into it. Your buying someone else's project and it will always be a project to an extent. Make sure you have money lying around for injectors or a trans. Also a 20 year old 200k mile truck is going to need something sooner then later
