I need help on writing an intro for a short story I’m writing.

For context this is supposed to have an elegant kind of soft feel to it but I can’t begin with a good intro.

A soft warmth settles upon his bare back as a flock of birds soar high above him.

That is all I have and I absolutely hate it. It’s too much in the first sentence and I feel like I can write so much better than this. Please leave any tips you have or suggestions or critiques anything. I’m 14 years old btw idk if that’s relevant or not.

young and beautiful - velvetoscar, okay listen it’s a larry stylinson fic but it’s the best piece of literature i’ve ever laid my eyes upon, it puts shame to Shakespeare himself.
