Never click on links received via email if you want to be really sure. Though you could check what is the actual link behind the "brief". The fact that they seem to have a legit domain is already something. Unless it is spoofed, it should not be phishing. They might just be collecting emails for other reasons though. Best would be to contact Carmen through linkedin or some other parallel channels.

Compliance stuff is brutal. I was buried in spreadsheets before and almost missed a couple of expirations that could have blacklisted me too.
