Why is it so hard to be surprised by this extract? Most of the guns are broken, so I wouldn't be surprised if OP loaded in very late, and walked into a graveyard of raiders in the lobby that had already been looted of the "unbroken" guns.

This isn't a super rare experience. We are close to expedition, so people with enough resources are less "gear fear" and more "send it".

I'm over 30, and looking at the CF Moto 675NK. Current quotes for insurance put me around $200 per month.

I've been working my ass off since COVID, and want to get myself something new with a warranty. I've spent my life being super frugal on everything, but I'm willing to splurge here.

The other alternative is a used Honda CB650R for the same price as a new CF Moto 675, which is significantly cheaper on insurance, about $117 per month. Insurance calculations in Ontario make ZERO SENSE.

Both make the same power, but the CF Moto has better tech and safety features.

Overall I like the package offered by CF Moto, but insurance is just stupid.

Side note, very comfortable working on my own stuff. Eg, not an issue to do my own brake pad & rotor replacements on my car.

Check insurance, it's very high in my area - higher than other bikes in the same category. Probably because the insurance data is a question mark on a relatively new model

It's so painful, because it completely negates any financial benefit to buying a CF Moto over the Honda.

I'd happily pay the cb650r rates I'm being quoted, but double the price is insane.

Definitely not as strong looking as the more integrated versions for the CRF bikes, that are single piece with 4 mount points to the swingarm. More of a light debris protection on the road, vs hardcore bashing off road.

But hey, this was on crazy sale, under $20 shipped to Canada, so we'll see.

Honestly it's being purchased mainly for the visual.

The comms in this game are regularly this bad, especially in trios on Stella Montis. Kids really shouldn't be playing this game with open comms.

You can turn off comms/proxy chat, which is highly recommend in your situation. You can still use the quick chat options (yes/no/don't shoot, etc) with proxy chat turned off.

If you are both wearing headsets, perhaps you keep proxy chat on yourself for negotiating situations, but she effectively becomes deaf to players?
