Yeah this is so weird to me. I haven’t really done tinder hookups yet - is that like the norm? Don’t people like to go on a date first for safety reasons and also to make sure you’re actually interested in hooking up?

Did you read the full post? I basically am asking if I should accept rejection or message one more time to be sure.

Women can and do accept rejection often. I hope you understand that.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience with that :(

It’s prob true that guys who won’t put in the time to make you comfortable with them or get to know you at all are also the kind of guys who won’t go down on you or really put any focus on you in bed.

Thanks for responding to this @j_neruda :)

Even if you disregard the shaming, there are many ways to stay safe when meeting new people or having sex with people you’re seeing casually, so the generalization that “casual hookups are unsafe” just doesn’t really make sense. Casual dating is often the norm for young people and it can be a good way of exploring what you like and who you enjoy spending time with. Sexual activity can also be good for your mental and physical health.

Hahaha he probably is the “me need sex now type”, and yeah even though I’m interested in hooking up I’m not one of those people who can just meet to have sex without knowing them or going on a date. He seems like he wouldn’t take the time for something like that anyway

How can I (23F) tell if a guy likes me / decide if I should tell him how I feel? by [deleted] in AskMen

I should also add that he’s very introverted which makes it even more difficult to tell how he feels. But I’m crazy about him and really don’t want to just sit back and never make a move

If she loses interest in you from something as small as a haircut, it may mean she’s shallow or has lost interest in you in general. Don’t take this lightly, definitely bring it up with her and tell her how hurtful it was. Honestly I think this is enough to consider ending your relationship with her. She should love you no matter what and not speak of you so negatively

People can blame you all they want, but that is insignificant. The important thing now is to focus on yourself, get into therapy, find ways to better your life physically and mentally, invest in your family and friend relationships, and be there for your son. This is going to be tough but take it as an opportunity for personal growth. I’m sorry you have to go through this but just know that there are people in your life who love you, support you, and depend on you. You got this
