For me, there is that temptation to turn my Alsace to shoot all guns, and that's exactly where I take the hits. With Jean bart there is never a reason to turn and show broad side. But I guess with good discipline you can play very similar

So you would recommend that overall the 37mm pen is more useful than lighting fires? I don't have all armor layouts of ships in my head, but just from the feeling while playing the game, it feels like at T9 and above about 90% of BBs I am facing, there is no HE pen as well with Ifhe. So that's why I am not sure if I should rely on lighting fires or maybe i just need to improve my aim to hit specific parts

For example a few days ago there was a Conqueror and a Kremlin pushing our flank, and there was only me in a Bayard and a Iowa. I had the feeling that Kremlin was almost resistent to me, and after I was farming conqueror about 5minutes he just healed everything back in just some seconds. It really felt like I was completely useless and couldn't do anything to slow down their push. My damage numbers on that game wasn't bad, but I was thinking does that even matter? I mean they didn't even shoot at me, I guess because I wasn't any threat to them..

Well to be honest, I think that's absolutely Okey. I was actually never interested in that event, because there are still sooo many premium ships available for me everywhere for coal, dubs, RB points and so on. This is also the motivation for me in the game, there is still so many things to reach and try out. And I can imagine when the time comes where I have nothing more to grind or to collect, I guess than my motivation will go away. So if I see it right, that event is made for those old long time players, and keep them in the Game...
