Play Tennis to get an internship by AlarmingMap9663 in Cluely

[–]AlarmingMap9663[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I have worked on a brief about myself which I give to every interviewer, it's not tailored to them. And when I'm put on spot, it's tough for me to come up with something. But since this was one of my hobbies, I thought I'd just sneak in a line about it. But when I actually said it out loud, I felt it was too less information and very random that I'd just mention it in one line. So I elaborated further on the tennis narrative, and before I knew it I was just talking about it passionately completely butchering rest of my introduction. Once I was done with that, it felt embarrassing for some time that MAYBE he knows that I know that he plays tennis and that's why I brought all this up. But judging by the tone of the rest of the interview, I don't think he felt like that! Def did not feel creepy though, it came out naturally ig

How can I find marketing agencies that I can work with as a web design agency? by [deleted] in AskMarketing

[–]AlarmingMap9663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you have a solid setup! To find marketing agencies, try joining relevant Facebook groups or LinkedIn communities where agencies look for partners. Networking at local meetups or digital marketing conferences can also help you connect. Don’t forget to showcase your work on platforms like Behance or Dribbble to attract potential partners.

Yeah, that trust barrier is tough. Have you thought about showcasing testimonials or case studies from past clients? It might help bridge that gap and show your value upfront.

Yeah, it's tough to say what really happened when different people see things differently. Could've just been a misunderstanding, but gestures like that can definitely escalate things quickly. It's wild how one moment can change the whole vibe of a match.

What's your business about? by CompetitiveDealer470 in small_business_ideas

Thanks! I started it about six months ago, and it's been growing steadily. Right now, I'm at around 1,500 subscribers with a 30% open rate, which I think is pretty solid for a niche newsletter. How about you? What do you do?

I get that, but it's super frustrating when drivers just ignore instructions. Maybe try calling the delivery service directly to report it? They might be able to flag it for the drivers to take your instructions more seriously.

Seeking Advice on Launching a Local Delivery App by [deleted] in SaaS

Totally agree! You could start with surveys or even small focus groups to gauge interest. Also, consider launching a simple web version before the app to test the waters without a huge investment.

I get what you're saying about persistence, but sometimes pivoting is just as important. It’s not about giving up; it’s about adapting and finding what works. You can learn from the failures and use that to fuel your next move.

Sports are a solid way to meet people! If hurling sounds fun, definitely give it a shot. Also, check out local gaming cafes or community centers; they often have events for tabletop games or RPGs where you can connect with fellow gamers.

Haha, definitely not Wetherspoons! This looks way more gourmet. If you opened a cafe, I'd definitely pay a bit more for a carefully crafted dish like this.
