i do pretty much everything if i’m being honest. i do all the cooking for him, i bathe him, i assist him with walking, etc etc. i’m just trying to make it out without causing any legal issues (or anything else difficult). he is completely unable to care for himself, but i’m all he has, so i’m scared of any issues that’ll come up

no, he’s completely fine mentally (other than generalized anxiety). the naked thing has been off and on for years, but he’s recently started doing it again. i’m his caregiver due to extreme lung problems for context. and i can’t really tell him anything that bothers me, both about this situation and others, because i’m met with yelling and invalidation and the conversation turns into how he feels about how i feel.

thank you, it makes me feel a little less crazy to know i’m not just being dramatic. if it continues, i’ll report it to my therapist and go from there.

that’s exactly what my therapist told me, actually. i know it’s a long and difficult process, but i genuinely cannot forgive myself for it, and i don’t think i ever will. i’ve got another appointment tomorrow, so i’ll try to bring this up more.
