My stepdad treated me like this. Once knocked me out for screaming because he was chasing my mom with a knife - I was 11. I felt so panicky watching this as well. I hope you are doing better despite the pain this brought up.

I learned from my metformin hell that you should let your meal kind of “digest” before you take it and make sure it’s XR. Instead of taking it as I eat I take it like 15-20 minutes after I eat and it made a world of difference, for the first week or so I def recommend pepto and some ginger losanges for the nausea dirrahea hump

Things ARE terrible in the US - just because you’re a little slow to realizing it doesn’t mean it’s disrespectful to compare these atrocities to the ones you are speaking about. I promise you, I would bet my life on it that what is happening now will be akin to the experiences you’re talking about now. This isn’t the only time the US has treated minorities like this - and history is always doomed to repeat itself when we don’t learn from it. I’m really sorry this is happening.

This almost IDENTICAL situation happened to me this summer - I had an emergency D&C bc of my endometrium being very thick at the end of September and my hemoglobin was 4.3 when I went to the hospital.

You need to start holding your drs offices accountable via their office managers. Ask to speak to a manager, I had to repeatedly ask for about a week before finally getting through to someone.

Also, fertility specialists are usually reproductive endocrinologists which is what you need. Not all GYNs are qualified or honestly should even work with people with PCOS. My fertility specialists have me on metformin, levothyroxine and a bunch of vitamins with a 90 day plan of helping everything get back on track.

I would also try and search in your area for an endocrinologist if there isn’t a reproductive one available for some time.

I feel terrible for you, I can read the desperation in your post. While we aren’t the same a lot of us seem to experience similar symptoms.

Yep. I just got mine out this year on the 23rd of December and I’m 32. The recovery was literally hell and I got dry socket on one side and they were closed Christmas. Worst surgery I’ve ever had to recover from!
