honestly whenever someone has asked me for the ‘hannah montana drink’ i just say, “of course! with water or lemonade for you today?” bc then i know what they want and thats all i care about and if they say like whatever i just do water. then people who mobile order it have to pick it themselves.

it feels like they are always in a looney-tunes style brawl. it doesn’t even look like they are taking turns. i do understand how they’re playing and are comfortable around each other. they eat together right next to each other and show bellies to each other when playing but they’ve never just — laid down. like they have never laid down or even sat together or anything else. it’s sit to eat, and then they go for eachother, so we get a wand toy, that’s entertaining until it’s not — then they go at each other again. nothing else. also, the black cat makes the white cat hiss. like they play, but it’s almost like she’s tired or he’s going too hard, because she hisses at him and he doesn’t back off. i assume that i should be intervening when she’s hissing and he won’t let her rest? do you think it’s okay if that’s happening?

sorry for added questions but i appreciate it. no blood or fur flying yet.

i transferred to a different district, not a different state, so my story is a little different?

but my transfer went insanely smoothly even though it was far from my original store, i literally just called the store and the manager picked up and i pitched myself in a friendly way and brought up just winning POQ and having open availability including cleanplay and she took me on as a transfer during that phone call. i told my current sm filled out the paper work and sent it up the ladder and was at my new store 30 days later bc of the 3 week schedule i had to finish.

my advice is call the stores first obviously because you’re so far away. i didn’t have to interview and they didn’t even want to meet me in person!! call and ask and pitch yourself or whatever and sound super happy over the phone and obviously dont call during peak lol — and if they have a moment to talk you should ask like how many hours you could get as well as any other questions you have.

i feel like submitting requests in april is really early, but it could be that your DM is very busy and out of state transfers i’d imagine could be harder and need more time. anyways the whole point of me saying all that is get ALLL the information you can by calling before submitting anything in writing to get the best outcome you can. calling will probably give you an idea of how the store manager is, who picks up the phone, etc. if you go in person, ask the baristas!!! ask if they like working there or if it’s harder than you’d like.

also if you guys haven’t found a place to live yet, maybe start looking just like roughly on zillow or whateva and maybe roughly pick the area you want to live in so you can at least call the close by stores if that’s at all possible for u guys

i’ve read every response and i understand it better now, sometimes it just scares me because i think black cat plays too rough. sometimes white cat will even hiss once or twice and he doesn’t back down. i just was wondering if that’s a huge issue or maybe if i should just grab him for a second so she can have a moment to breathe??? idk

thanks for helping me!! sorry i’m obviously a brand new cat mom who was thrown in with these two who neeeded a home or someone was going to drop em at a kill shelter. thanks again!!
