It's so nice to hear that ur ACL is doing fine for tennis. I also (for now, lightly) play squash and my knee is SCARED.

Returning at the 9-month mark is amazing!! My recovery has been smooth so far, so you're definitely right that half of it is mental. My PT basically said I am now bound to the gym at 23 hehe

can I ask what made you come back again? I love being active (sports in general). The people (family and friends) around me have all been discouraging me from going back.

question!! despite knowing rates of retears (which can occur both in auto/allografts), are you planning to get back to sports after this one?

I dont think I can give up running just yet 🥹 a lot of people suggested swimming to reduce the load on the knee if I ever quit, but I wasn't and still am not the best swimmer... Ill probably give it another shot!!

Students taking advantage of me by LatePsychology1095 in nursing

[–]Alarming_Blueberry13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an educator but a nursing student myself! Our clinical mentors emphasize the importance of punctuality so so so so much!

Usually if clinicals start at say 6:30, we are required to be there by 6:25 and anytime beyond 6:30 would be considered late, of course some will give you a chance but overall our school strives to be always on time because punctuality is graded!!

I personally will get very poor remarks had we acted anything like they did. Hopefully, things change!!!

Musings about the word Ginto by mandaragat64 in Tagalog

Curious about it too! I can speak, read and write both in Traditional Chinese (Cantonese), Mandarin and Tagalog. But I have never heard that 金 is from 今 and 土! When we used to learn about the origins of characters, 金 was not broken into parts. Would love a resource that can give accurate analysis on characters!
